Community Cars

The Village Hall is home to Community Cars, a community organisation of volunteer drivers. Our aim is to help people without access to their own transport to get out and about at reasonable cost and help minimise the isolation some people can feel in the villages we serve. Trips can be for any reason; medical, shopping, dropping at a station, meetings, even visits to a vet. We will do our best to meet your needs and can assist with lifting, wheelchairs etc. if necessary. And no, you do not need to be elderly, or unable to drive to use our service.

To book a car, or find out more, call us on 01485 520 823 at any time. The Office is open from 09:00 to 12:00 Monday to Friday except for public holidays. Outside these times, please leave a name and telephone number  and we will ring back.
