Every Tuesday from 9.15 a.m. for approximately 1 hour In an effort to reduce food waste, Sarah will be setting up in the Village Hall car park every Tuesday.  This is an attempt to redistribute foods getting close to their best before date.  It is collected from local supermarkets and given away free of charge.  Otherwise, it would be disposed into landfill, etc. This is not a food bank - this is for everyone!  ...Read more >

We were very fortunate on Saturday 29 August to host the Northern Leg of the Latin Mass Society's annual walking pilgrimage to Walsingham. Traditionally they depart from Nottinghamshire, walking approximately 120 miles east across the country to reach the final High Mass at the Walsingham Priory ruins.  The pilgrims walk during the day carrying a large wooden cross. A huge thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who helped make the Family Fun Day a day to remember! It's fair to say, the village did us proud..... what an amazing afternoon! The flamingo outfit isn't compulsory in the role of being a Village Hall Trustee ... but it helps!

What an incredible day on Saturday 25 July and a massive congratulations to the Wanderers Legends! We cannot thank everyone enough who supported the day.  Not only did they win a game of football but also win another cup! A triumphant triple header.... 3 games and 3 wins!
