Welcome to Silver Hare Celebrations, home to an independent celebrant helping you to create the perfect ceremony to celebrate either your union as a couple, a farewell to a loved one or a renewal of your wedding vows. My name is Alison Darlington and my role as an independent special ceremony celebrant is to help you to create the perfect ceremony Although based in Lincolnshire these days, I am a Norfolk girl with strong roots in the county and would be thrilled to travel to Great Massingham to perform any ceremony.
Weddings and Vow Renewals:
Just like you I want your Wedding or Vow Renewal Day to be incredibly unique, lots of fun and full of special moments and memories. The beauty of a celebrant-led wedding is that I don’t offer an off-the-shelf ceremony, I tailor your day to be exactly what you want it to be. I’m not bound by legal or religious wording so whatever words, emotions, themes or sentiment you want to express can be woven into your special ceremony. I cannot legally ‘marry’ you, that needs a quick trip to the registry office with two witnesses – but I can write you a ceremony that will live long in yours and your guests’ memories.
I can also weave special elements into your wedding such as a hand-fasting or unity ceremony, certificate signing or bouquet creation. Even your pets can get in on the action, I know how important they are to you. Whatever your ideas, we can work together to blend them into your wedding day.
Funerals:
Creating the perfect ceremony for a recently deceased loved one is no easy task, especially as each ceremony is as individual as the person it is written for. You need to have confidence that the celebrant you entrust to deliver this final celebration will listen to your wishes and do you and your family proud.
I know from my own personal experience of loss that this is a confusing and anxious time and you simply want someone to help guide you through the whole process. I’m an approachable, warm and friendly individual who will hopefully put you at ease during this difficult time and I promise to be committed and engaged throughout. However you wish to mark your loved one’s passing, be that a Celebration of Life or a traditional Funeral, together we can craft an appropriate ceremony .
I am a lover of stories and storytelling and will take great pleasure in bringing your loved one’s story to life at their final farewell.
Whatever your reason for wanting a ceremony let me take you by the hand and guide you through the whole process. Life is extraordinary, and you are too, so don’t settle for a less than extraordinary ceremony.
